Mission Statement
“ The Learning Disability Center for education and training is a facility that is dedicated to providing support for those with Learning Disabilities. Its goal focuses on the opportunity for success and accommodation for further improvement. The facility contributes to creating a space that provides support, mentoring, counseling, tutors, and other specialized programs that would benefit those individuals with learning disabilities.”
Concept Statement
The space will emphasize the relationship between well-being and education. The use of color theory, different shaped rooms, and academic tools will provide students with a workspace where they can both study and heal. Incorporating modern technology within the design of the space will guarantee opportunities for success. Adding flexible and ergonomic furniture will contribute to the interaction between students and build a community.
